For more than 130 years, the College of Law at the University of Tennessee has helped shape students into professionals who get to live out their dreams. We’d love to have you join us at the UTK College of Law.
Choosing UT Law means choosing a school that has been helping students become lawyers for more than 125 years.
UT Law is a unique law school
Being a member of the UT Law community makes me immensely proud. My classmates are exceptional people who are doing extraordinary things like helping to pass legislative bills, advocating for their communities, and assisting small business owners. Outside of the law school, I have found countless UT Law graduates who are willing to mentor and help students in any manner. The UT Law community is truly amazing and inspiring.

The College of Law helps you achieve your goals
I chose the University of Tennessee College of Law because of its familial environment and its clinical and experiential programs. My most meaningful experience was working with the Advocacy Clinic on a compassionate release motion that brought our client home 10 years early.
